Sucks For Her! World Recorder Holder For Longest Nails Shatters Them in Car Crash

Boo hoo!

Lee Redmond, the Utah woman listed in the Guinness Book of World Records for her long fingernails, lost them in a car crash on Tuesday.

Her nails, which hadn’t been cut since 1979(!) were shattered in the crash.

Before the crash, her nails measured a total of more than 28 feet long, with the longest nail on her right thumb at 2 feet, 11 inches.

Creepy!

There is some good news, though. Redmond sustained serious but non-life-threatening injuries.
