It’s not that he doesn’t deserve it, but the last person who rose from the ranks of Survivor was Elizabitch Hasselbeck.
Forgive us for being skeptical!
Survivor Cook Islands winner Yul Kwon was appointed to deputy chief of Consumer and Governmental Affairs at the Federal Communications Commission. His duties will include being responsible for handling consumer inquiries and complaints, as well as being the public face of the bureau.
And he’s more than qualified!
Kwon’s accomplishments include lecturing at the FBI Academy, drafting science and technology legislation as an aide to Senator Joseph Lieberman, and clerking for Judge Barrington D. Parker on the 2nd Circuit Court of Appeals. And he’s a practicing lawyer who went to Yale Law School, where he served on the editorial board of the Yale Law Journal.
Mayjahly impressive, so why would he ever choose to do reality TV?!
