As we mentioned earlier this week, some scumbags were threatening to release the last photos of Jett Travolta as he lay dying in the ambulance on the way to the hospital in the Bahamas.
It was believed that the photo was taken by one of the paramedics, and a local politician from the Bahamas was also thought to be in on the scheme. The two were said to be threatening to sell the photo to the highest bidder if John Travolta didn’t pay their ransom.
But finally, some good news. Sort of.
Authorities in the Bahamas have now detained both a lawmaker and a paramedic connected to the money extortion scheme.
One of the suspects is Tarino Lightbourne, the ambulance driver. He was detained on Friday by police officials. Several media outlets had even quoted Lightbourne as he described how they tried to save Travolta’s son.
The Senior Assistant Commissioner of Police, Marvin Dames, had said ambulance driver Lightbourne was “considered dangerous and should be approached with caution.”
The local authorities didn’t reveal what that alleged extortion consisted of though.
Also held for questioning is Sen. Pleasant Bridgewater, an attorney from Grand Bahama.
Justice shall be served!
