Sydney Sweeney was finally set to walk down the aisle to marry her longtime fiancé Jonathan Davino this spring — but the wedding has been postponed! What??
According to TMZ intel on Friday, the actress was supposed to tie the knot in May, but she’s put the nuptials on pause. Sources claimed this was due to the couple’s busy schedules — but is that really all that’s causing this decision??

The couple has been engaged since 2022 after first sparking dating rumors in 2018. They were last spotted publicly last month and even showed off some PDA to kick off the new year on Instagram. Everything seemed good!
And that’s saying a lot considering they survived those Glen Powell romance rumors, which Sydney later claimed she faked for marketing purposes. This is a tactic fans think she seemingly tried to strike up again just weeks ago when she stepped out with her new co-star Brandon Sklenar. Perhaps all this is getting to her actual beau? We could see constant romance speculation taking a toll on even the strongest of relationships!
That said, the 27-year-old does have a ton of projects in the works right now, including the highly-anticipated new season of Euphoria which finally just started shooting again after many delays. So, maybe she really is just too overwhelmed to say “I do” to the businessman? Fingers crossed this isn’t the sign of something worse…
