In an interview with Glamour on Thursday, Sydney Sweeney shared that paparazzi recently went to extreme measures to grab pictures of her. We are talking super disgusting lengths here! The 27-year-old actress claimed they showed up at her new home in Florida, and yeah that’s already bad enough, but it gets worse from there…

Her family was outside, and the paps started yelling at them at the time. Then in a twisted move, they tried to barter with her relatives to get a snap of Sydney in a bikini! Yes, really! The Euphoria star recalled:
“They said, ‘If you tell her to just come outside in a bikini, I’ll take pictures and then I’ll leave you alone.’”
OMG! WHAT!
To hound her own family to make a deal for bathing suit pictures crosses a major line! No one deserves that sort of treatment, whether they are famous or not. It is very disturbing. And we can imagine her family members thankfully (and hopefully) told the paps to eff off afterward!
While people on social media speculated she called the paparazzi on herself (some celebs do do that), that’s far from the truth in this case. Sydney would prefer the paparazzi leave her alone when she’s home since it not only invades her privacy but puts her and her family’s safety at risk too! As Sydney pointed out, those photos at her residence make it way too easy for fans or potential stalkers to figure out where she lives:
“Why would I call the paparazzi to take pictures of me at my own house when my baby cousins and family are there and I’m in my backyard? Why would I ever want that? I have pictures of these guys in kayaks hiding in bushes in the ocean. They got there at 8 a.m. and wouldn’t leave until 4 p.m. I should be able to be in my home and feel comfortable and safe.”
Oof. So true… The Anyone But You star continued:
“When those photos go out, then my actual safety is at risk. Everyone knows where I am. Now there’s boats that go by, and I literally hear them say, ‘This is Sydney Sweeney’s house.’ It becomes a star tour in my front yard.”
