Never say Michael B. Jordan doesn’t give an authentic performance!

The OG underdog Sylvester Stallone shared a clip from the set of the upcoming boxing flick that shows Jordan in the ring facing off against an opponent — and he takes a right hook that sends him straight to the mat!
Check out the (semi-graphic) clip (below):

Wow! We’re not sure if the 28-year-old really got “KO’d for real” like Sly described, but that definitely looked like it hurt!
Speaking on the Bill Simmons Podcast, the actor revealed that Stallone pressured him to take the hit during filming:

“He’s like, ├óΓé¼╦£No, you gotta take a real punch.’ Like, pretty much, I had to really get hit…I was smelling canvas. I definitely know what they say, ├óΓé¼╦£When you see stars’ now.”

We aren’t surprised a bit of hazing comes in to play when taking over someone’s franchise! LOLz!
See Jordan take a bunch more hits by watching Creed — in theaters now!
