Oh no, we bet the Taco Bell chihuahua will be rolling in his grave after he hears this news!
It was recently reported that two Taco Bell locations in Manhattan distributed FAKE change to tons of unsuspecting and innocent customers over the course of two weeks.
A 17 year old employee at one of the locations claimed in a lawsuit that her supervisors intimidated her to hand out the bogus change, a charade she complied with out of fear until she concocted a plan to nab her dirty bosses.
The smart teen decided to secretly record her supervisors during a meeting where they ordered her to continue with their scheme. The awful bosses went as far to claim the employee would be framed and subsequently arrested if she didn’t comply!
After the meeting, the teen went to the police with her evidence and the rest is history.
The employee is suing Taco Bell for 5mil in damages. In real money, though.
