This is a first for Take That!
The British pop band were forced to cancel a concert in Denmark on Saturday after Robbie Williams became “violently ill.”
According to an official statement, doctors told Robbie that he would not be able to perform due to a bad case of food poisoning.
Take That released a statement about the incident, saying:
“We are truly devastated to have had to cancel tonight’s show in Denmark. This is the first show that we have ever had to cancel in our career as a band. It was a horrible decision to make and one we agonized over. We would like to say from the bottom of our hearts that we are truly sorry to all of you who have bought tickets for tonight’s show.”
The rest of the group agreed that “it would be wrong to go ahead” without Robbie.
Their next performance is schedule for tonight in Amsterdam. Hopefully, Robbie feels better and can make the concert.
