So if you’re one of those HUNDREDS of people who can’t pee while someone is talking to you, you might want to avoid Michigan for a while…
The Unicorn State (we’re not sure that’s right) is getting ready to keep drunks from driving by using talking urinal cakes
And yes, they do have a woman’s voice, and they say a recorded message (thank GOD it’s not live) reminding men who step up to the urinals to call a cab or a friend, if needed, to get home safely.
They’re hoping that the shock in addition to using a little bit of humor in a unique location will help people remember to not drive drunk.
The message is aimed at Michigan men because they are three times more likely to drive drunk than women!
The federally funded drunken driving crackdown runs through Sunday, as the motion-activated messages are part of a statewide Fourth of July education and enforcement effort.
It’d be cool if they were only activated if they could read your BAC from your PEE.
We can dream!
