Target Pledges $500 Million Towards Education!

A step in the right direction!
Though Target has funneled its funds into some questionable campaigns in the past, we can’t help but support their latest decision of what to do with the of the money in their donation program.
With a little push from Oprah Winfrey, the superstore empire has pledged to donate $500 million over the next five years to support efforts made to get kids reading by the 3rd grade.
To date, it is the single largest charitable donation in the company’s history and doubles the amount of money Target has donated to schools in the past.
