It turns out that before their alleged domestic dispute, Taylor Frankie Paul would call Dakota Mortensen… a lot.
As you know, The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives star found herself embroiled in major controversy days before the premiere of her season of The Bachelorette. News broke on Sunday that production halted on Season 5 of the Hulu reality show due to an alleged confrontation between Taylor and Dakota. Both sides are reportedly accusing each other of domestic violence, and things are serious to the point where police and the Utah Division of Child and Family Services got involved. More shocking alleged details about their unhealthy relationship are now coming out.

Reality Steve posted a screenshot to Instagram on Tuesday of Dakota’s call log from this past January, which he received from the reality star’s roommate, Cru, showing that Taylor called him about 150 times in the span of 90 minutes. She even called him 118 times in a row at one point! OMG! This was a month after Taylor finished filming The Bachelorette, where she may or may not have gotten engaged by the finale, mind you. We’ll find out if she did once the season begins airing on Sunday. But fans have their suspicions on how the show ended, especially in light of all the drama — and this call log. To many, that is absolutely wild! However, sources with direct knowledge claim to TMZ that this is normal for Taylor and Dakota! He reportedly expects hundreds of calls from the MomTok star every night — and you know what? Sources say he doesn’t hate it! In fact, they allege he LIKES the validation and attention! WHAT!?
According to the insiders, his struggles with addiction are a huge factor in that. They claim Taylor and Dakota are now addicted to each other, and he fills the void by reconnecting with the 31-year-old television personality despite knowing how toxic their relationship is. Sources also say Taylor is “obsessed” with Dakota and loves him. And although she also recognizes how unhealthy their relationship is at times, she feels like she can’t leave him.
A source close to Taylor is coming to her defense, though. They allege some of the calls are related to their almost 2-year-old son, Ever, and that she sometimes has to call Dakota multiple times because he ghosts her. If true, that’s not OK. Regardless of what is going on with your baby momma, he shouldn’t totally ice her out because you never know, it could be an emergency involving their child. That said, 118 in a row? And it’s allegedly a regular thing? Girl… Not a good look.
