It appears Taylor Frankie Paul was set on putting her dancing shoes on — but not anymore!
According to a tip from DeuxMoi on Tuesday, The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives star was supposed to follow in the footsteps of her fellow Bachelorette leading ladies and join Dancing With The Stars next season! But following all the scandal, fans shouldn’t get their hopes up about her waltzing anytime soon! The plans changed the second that Taylor’s season of The Bachelorette got cancelled due to her massive domestic violence scandal with ex, Dakota Mortensen!

The MomTok star is now out, and ABC is looking to get another former Bachelorette to take her place! The tip said:
“Taylor Frankie Paul was set to be announced on DWTS this month and even had an entire date on the Bachelorette that was going to set up the announcement. Now that the season is no longer airing and all of the controversy, they are now seeking to get former bachelorette and host Tayshia Adams signed onto the show, but don’t expect an official announcement for a few months. Expect a Rob and Maura dual announcement for DWTS as well.”
Look, we get that ABC doesn’t want to take the risk amid all the backlash. But it’s not like they haven’t cast extremely controversial figures on DWTS before! They literally had convicted fraudster Anna Delvey competing in 2024! The girl even wore her ankle monitor on the show! They also had a person accused of domestic violence on it!
NFL running back Adrian Peterson competed the year prior, even though he was arrested in 2022 over an alleged “verbal and physical altercation” on board an aircraft, per ESPN. He also reportedly pleaded no contest to misdemeanor reckless assault after he used a switch to hit his then-4-year-old son, which resulted in cuts and bruises all over his body. If they’re allowed on DWTS, why can’t Taylor be? Just wondering!
