Taylor Frankie Paul Expresses 'Gratitude' For Support In Emotional Post Amid Scandal With Dakota Mortensen

Taylor Frankie Paul expresses gratitude for support amid DV scandal

Taylor Frankie Paul is thankful for her support system amid her domestic violence scandal and custody dispute with Dakota Mortensen.

As you know, these past few weeks have been difficult for The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives star as she deals with blow after blow following an alleged domestic assault between her and her baby daddy in February, which is currently under investigation, along with another 2024 incident. Amid the intense backlash, especially over the 2023 abuse video, her season of The Bachelorette got cancelled, and she temporarily lost custody of her 2-year-old son, Ever.

And although Taylor scored a huge win this week when a judge granted her a protective order against Dakota, she also suffered a loss. The judge ordered her supervised visitation with Ever until the next court hearing over both parents’ protective orders on April 30, which means the reality star can only see her little one for up to 8 hours per week. Meanwhile, Dakota remains the primary caretaker, at least for now. Taylor, who had custody of the toddler for 70 percent of the time, hoped to return to their previous arrangement, so the decision is a huge L for her. The MomTok star is likely disappointed she didn’t get her way, but it’s also better than nothing!

What is getting her through these difficult losses at this time is her community, though! They have been rallying around Taylor, and their kindness hasn’t gone unnoticed! And the Hulu personality is now taking to Instagram to express her “gratitude.” Taylor wrote on Thursday night:

“Just want to say THANK YOU to those that have all helped carry. Nothing but gratitude for these gifts given by different people at different times that have been essential for me through this specific time. Thank you to every message, meal, gift, call, prayer, and support of any kind sent. There is the human side of this and then it gets to a point of it being miraculous when you start to see it from a bigger lens

The 31-year-old content creator then shared a picture of herself in tears, with the caption:

“It’s miraculous that every essential or reminder I’ve needed was GIVEN through people.”

The following photos featured a bunch of gifts from loved ones, including a book meant to give her “peace and comfort,” a Starbucks drink, a bouquet of flowers, and more. Swipe to check it out (below):
