Well this is definitely a change from Battleship and Friday Night Lights!
Steamy-dreamy actor Taylor Kitsch has reportedly joined the star-stuffed cast of Ryan Murphy‘s HBO film version of iconic play The Normal Heart!
Taylor will play Bruce Niles, a gay investment banker who is SO moved by the horrors that result from HIV/AIDS that he becomes an activist fighting to raise awareness about the disease.
The Savages star joins Julia Roberts, Mark Ruffalo, Jim Parsons, and Matt Bomer in this retelling of the poignant, heart-breaking Tony-award winning production.
No news yet as to how this “movie” will take shape… we’ve heard it could be turned into a mini series, but it may just be a fully-fledged, uninterrupted film.
Either way, like most things Ryan Murphy touches, we’re sure it’ll be riveting!
