Ryan Murphy Teases A ‘Coven’ Return With ‘AHS’ Cast Pic!

With the expected crossovers from past seasons and approximately 37 characters to be played by Sarah Paulson, American Horror Story: Apocalypse is off to a confusing start.

Well, brace yourselves, because the new season is about get even more confusing… if Ryan Murphy’s recent Instagram post is any indication.

On Monday, the series co-creator teased fans with a behind the scenes photo featuring some of the promised returning cast members from Coven. He shared:

On Wednesdays we still wear black.

A post shared by Ryan Murphy (@mrrpmurphy) on

Yup, that’s Paulson, Taissa Farmiga, Frances Conroy, and Gabourey Sidibe all back in black and ready to attack! So are Cheyenne Jackson and Leslie Grossman — which is weird, seeing that Grossman is already playing a character locked up in the outpost run by Paulson’s other character, Ms. Wilhelmina Venable.

Wait. Is Coco St. Pierre Vanderbilt a witch, too? Is Grossman also playing multiple characters this season? Surely, Paulson’s contract forbids that, right??

We have a ton of questions. The most important being… where is Emma Roberts!??

We guess we’ll have to wait and see.

Cory Monteith’s Mom Thinks Pain Meds From ‘Massive’ Dental Work Were To Blame For His Overdose

Cory Monteith may have grown up too quickly, but he always made time for mom.

Five years after he died of a “mixed drug toxicity” of heroin and alcohol, the former Glee star’s mother is speaking out on his early life and history with substance abuse — and she says some “massive” dental work might be to blame for that final, fatal bender.

American Horror Story‘s Season 8 To Be Highly Buzzed About Coven/Murder House Crossover!

1 + 3 does not = 8. Unless you’re Ryan Murphy!

Let’s be honest. The last two seasons of American Horror Story, Roanoke and Cult, weren’t… the best.

So what’s a TV giant to do? Follow through on a tease he made in 2016 and fuse two successful seasons together for a crossover reboot, duh!

Yes, he’s finally making good (or evil?) on pairing Murder House with Coven — and for a season earlier than expected! The first and third installment of Murphy’s horror anthology are fan favorites, so what’s there to lose?

Well, maybe a plot line here and there, but hey! Confusion is scary!

Murphy himself announced the news Thursday afternoon via Twitter, writing: (more…)

Ryan Murphy is just getting started talking about #MeToo — in fact, he’s currently putting together a new show inspired by the movement, tentatively titled├óΓé¼┬ª wait for it├óΓé¼┬ª Consent!

The prolific TV producer pitched the anthology series to The New Yorker in a recent profile, explaining that it would be set up in the model of Black Mirror and would explore a different case in each episode, starting with an insider’s account of The Weinstein Company.

Murphy added that there would also be an episode about Kevin Spacey, and a case that dealt with a vague he-said-she-said encounter. The only problem? Murphy hasn’t left FX just yet and his Netflix deal doesn’t official kick in until July — so the platform Consent lands on is still up in the air.

The producer also opened up about the downfalls of the cast members of his show Glee, noting the “sad” stories of Cory Monteith‘s heroin overdose, Mark Salling‘s child porn charges and suicide, and Naya Rivera‘s domestic battery charges were all inevitable Hollywood tragedies.

He told the publication: (more…)

Ryan Murphy is done with the “realistic” seasons of American Horror Story and going back to what he knows best: “heightened” horror, batshit crazy storylines, and hopefully at least one out-of-place dance number.

The prolific producer spilled a few details about the show’s upcoming eighth season at the show’s FYC panel on Friday.

Glee: Where Are They Now?

glee where are they now

It’s crazy to think that Glee has been off the air for YEARS now.

Nonetheless, A LOT has happened since Ryan Murphy‘s musical comedy departed the small screen. For starters, some have made it big following their stint on the Fox hit, *cough* Melissa Benoist *cough*.

Sadly for others, like Mark Salling and Cory Monteith, they did not achieve a happy ending. Be sure to catch up on what you’ve missed by ch-ch-checking out the gallery (below)!!

Lea Michele Responds To The Crazy Internet Theory That She Can’t Read Or Write!

Lea Michele is laughing off the conspiracy theory that she’s secretly illiterate.

The bizarre rumor took off this week after superfans Jaye Hunt and Robert Ackerman filmed a Facebook Live video dispensing hard evidence that the Glee alum never learned how to read because she was too busy “being famous.”

Complete with a powerpoint presentation, the fans explained that Lea only had “to learn, like, four words” for her role in Ragtime, and later “fully memorized” her part for Spring Awakening.

By the time she starred on Glee, they postulated, Ryan Murphy kept Miz Michele’s illiteracy secret and helped her learn all of her lines.

As for what sparked this crackpot theory? The fact that the 31-year-old has never responded to the shady shit written about her in Naya Rivera‘s memoir! Ha!

The diva took to Twitter on Thursday to set the record straight by responding directly to a fan (which takes skill in reading AND writing), sharing: (more…)
