You may be shocked to have seen this cover of People magazine, which features Taylor Lautner announcing that he’s an “out” and “proud” gay man, but apparently, it’s just one elaborate hoax, and the actor has made no such announcement!

Apparently, Def Jam‘s Simmons thought it was legit, and even wrote via Twitter:
proud of Taylor Lautner for his bravery and his courage.
And upon realizing that it was fake:
disappointed that people would joke about someone coming out about their sexuality. Let Taylor Lautner be whoever he wants to be…

Gay or straight, we like our TayTay just as he is!
