Taylor Momsen’s Rihanna Rock 'n' Back-Peddle

Taylor Momsen is in the business of saying inconsistent dumb shit.
During an interview, Taylor was called out on describing Rihanna as a “rock wannabe.”
Taylor said that she was misquoted and then started to back-peddle:

├óΓé¼┼ô[I was] arguing the difference between rock vs. pop, and that it├óΓé¼Γäós a very pop-oriented world at the moment, and that there is no rock. And people that dress [like rock stars] and have guitars in their music — that├óΓé¼Γäós the closest thing audiences have to rock right now, and we├óΓé¼Γäóre looking to bring back a real rock band. I wasn├óΓé¼Γäót insulting Rihanna. Rihanna├óΓé¼Γäós great.├óΓé¼┬¥

Hmm… It seems like a real rock star wouldn├óΓé¼Γäót back down on what they said about someone. Also, implying that you are the only ├óΓé¼┼ôreal rock band├óΓé¼┬¥ out there is a little presumptuous. Why don├óΓé¼Γäót you run that by…oh, I don├óΓé¼Γäót know, ANY rock band in the world and see what their reaction is!
