Taylor Swift isn’t going to let the new era of AI take advantage of her!
With the tech creators behind Artificial Intelligence desperately striving for it to take over every corner of life, T-Swizzle is taking important legal steps to protect herself and her fans. On Friday, her company filed three different trademark applications with the US Patent and Trademark Office. Two of which are sound trademarks, which cover her voice saying the phrases:
“Hey, it’s Taylor Swift.”
“Hey, It’s Taylor.”
The third trademark filing has to do with a famous shot of her from The Eras Tour, which is described as:
“A photograph of Taylor Swift holding a pink guitar, with a black strap and wearing a multi-colored iridescent bodysuit with silver boots. She is standing on a pink stage in front of a multi-colored microphone with purple lights in the background.”

So… Something similar to this!

Iconic! This isn’t the actual image they’re filing for trademark with, but it gives us a good idea of what Tay is trying to do. She doesn’t want AI to misuse those sounds or image.
Of course, with AI scams getting more and more common — this will be a huge step in a protective direction for the artist and vulnerable fans alike, which Matthew McConaughey also did recently.
Thoughts, Perezcious readers?
