Joe Alwyn Is 'Very Supportive' Of Newly-Political Taylor Swift!

Taylor Swift has been enjoying quite a coming-out party lately as she continues to find her voice on political and social issues, and her man is standing by her side as she steps into more of an activist role!

As the superstar singer herself has noted in recent interviews, her relationship with 28-year-old Joe Alwyn is more private than pretty much any love interest she’s had over the years. But that doesn’t mean the actor isn’t extremely proud of his lovely lady for (finally) going public with her politics in the era of Donald Trump!

Speaking to People, a source relayed interesting insider info about Alwyn and his 29-year-old Lover, revealing how Joe’s laid-back personality just seems to fit well, especially when it comes to fitting in with Tay’s impressive new activist streak (below):

“Joe’s personality is great for Taylor. He is very calm and always very supportive [about her politics]. He’s sympathetic and understanding and supports her speaking out about things that she doesn’t agree with.”

Nice!

Behind every leading lady, there should be a fully supportive partner, right?! Love it!!

But it’s not just in the political realm where the sexy Englishman seems to excel! Privacy is a feature in this pair’s serious relationship, and things are happy, healthy, and moving forward exceptionally well.

The insider dished about that, too, sharing some more key info (below):

“There’s something refreshing and different about their relationship. Joe makes Taylor very happy, and it’s hard to picture her not spending the rest of her life with him. Her family loves him. He seems older than he is and is a fantastic guy. Joe loves acting but doesn’t want to be a celebrity. They both agree that for their relationship to keep working, they want to keep things more quiet. She’s the happiest she’s ever been.”

Support for political opinions is one thing (and it’s great!), but “it’s hard to picture her not spending the rest of her life with him” is a HELL of a thing to say!! We knew these two were serious — but can we bank on them being that serious??
