Travis Tries To Shoot His Shot
Back in late July 2023, Travis announced on his podcast with his brother Jason Kelce, New Heights, that he was “butt hurt” he didn’t get to meet Taylor when she came to Arrowhead Stadium during The Eras Tour.
He explained he made her a “friendship bracelet” with his phone number on it. This video went mega viral when it first came out, especially since Tay Tay was newly-single at the time.
Who knew how iconic this video would end up being in the future?! On a Wednesday, in a YouTube video, Taylor watched it Begin Again!
Momma Swift, Papa Swift, & Coach Reid Play Matchmaker!
From the very beginning, Andrea and Scott Swift, along with Coach Andy Reid were on team Tayvis!
While Tay revealed in her Eras Tour doc her mom was the one who encouraged her to get with Trav, her Pops and Coach Reid also played a pivotal role. The couple have even called Coach Reid “cupid” and he claims to have been the one who set them up in the first place. It definitely helped since he knew Tay’s dad — he could put in a good word for the tight end!
Tay & Trav Start Secretly Dating
After getting set up, the couple say they secretly dated for a while.
We don’t know much about what actually went on during this time, and that’s exactly what they wanted! The whole point was for them to get to know each other before going public, and that’s what they did. Love it!
Taylor Makes Her First Appearance At A Chiefs Game
Taylor literally stopped the world when she made her first appearance at Arrowhead Stadium NOT for a concert.
Everyone remembers where they were when THOSE iconic clips of her smiling and waving hit our TV screens and social media. This was our first time seeing Tay even acknowledge Travis publicly — and it was one hell of a way to do it! Talk about a kickoff!
Saturday Night Live Afterparty
In October 2023, it was officially ON.
The pop star and her brand new beau got their pics taken by paparazzi for the first time after they attended the SNL season 49 premiere afterparty in NYC. Sources told People at the time that they partied hard and stayed until the early hours of the morning. These were the hand-holding shots that solidified their relationship to the public.
Travis Attends The Eras Tour As ‘That Guy On The Chiefs’
Now that she’s officially his girlfriend, Travvy can’t just have one Eras Tour show under his belt.
And this one is extra special! In Buenos Aires, Tay Tay officially changed some lyrics in her song Karma from “karma is the guy on the screen” to “karma is the guy on the Chiefs”. Aww!
Super Bowl LVIII
Was this really the Super Bowl in 2024, or was it the Tayvis Bowl??
This was a real life High School Musical fantasy. The Chiefs took home the trophy, marking Travis’ third Super Bowl ring, all while his lady was in the audience cheering him on. They also attended the big afterparty at the Wynn Las Vegas resort, where Jason hilariously wore that wrestling mask. LOLz! What a time to be alive!
Time Magazine Interview
Still riding the high from the Super Bowl, we finally got a glimpse into Taylor’s more intimate life with Travis when she shouted him out during her Time Magazine: Person of the Year interview.
Who could forget when she called her man “metal as hell” for pursuing her so publicly? So cute!
The Tortured Poets Department & The Alchemy Are So High School!
With Tay’s first album post-Joe Alwyn breakup and post-Matty Healy chaos on the way, we knew we were in for a bunch of new lore and a lot of surprises in The Tortured Poets Department.
Between all the breakup and heartbreaking songs, though, we got a small glimpse into her life with Trav. The Alchemy and So High School ended up being the first songs she released about her future fiancé — and they’re just SO damn romantic!
Travis Takes To The Eras Tour Stage!
During one of Taylor’s shows at Wembley Stadium on her Eras Tour, Travis really went out of his way to PROVE he was the man for her!
Rather than hiding in the shadows and staying out of the spotlight, he got in her spotlight with her! These two surprised fans with the NFL star going onstage to perform with the pop superstar during her TTPD set. Iconic!
Travis Supports The Final Eras Tour Dates
The Eras Tour finally came to a close in 2024, and it was no doubt an emotional ride for Taylor.
She’d been on this tour and working so hard for so long, it became part of her life. And what we learned in The End of an Era doc is that Travis was working behind the scenes to support his lady during the final shows.
Even if he wasn’t there in person, he made sure to send her love letters and flowers to let her know he was so proud!
Taylor Goes On New Heights
Taylor made HISTORY when she appeared on the podcast where it all started.
In 2025, the 36-year-old announced her new album on New Heights alongside Travis and Jason. She also gave us SO much insider info into her life and relationship.

The Engagement
Everyone remembers where they were when our gym teacher and our English teacher announced their engagement!
Finally, the moment we’d all been waiting for happened, and on August 26, 2025 — Tay and Trav revealed they got engaged! The Gorgeous photos were taken in Travis’ backyard, which he sneakily staged while Taylor was recording New Heights with him. Romantic!
The Life Of A Showgirl Released!
She ain’t gotta knock on Wood!
Can you say history was MADE?! Taylor released her TLOAS album in October 2025 and fans went wild when they decoded all the songs she’d written about her man. Travis certainly got his ego stroked with songs like Wood and Opalite!
Behind The Scenes Tayvis In Eras Tour Documentary!
Tay Tay’s Eras Tour documentary series The End Of An Era pulled back the curtain on one of the most monumental tours of all time when she released it in November 2025.
And in the midst of it all, she gave us a close look at some sweet moments with Travvy — and how he kept her feeling special and loved throughout the whole second and third legs of the tour.
The Present
These days, we hear lots of news fluttering around about how Taylor and Travis are living their lives now.
They seem to be really valuing their alone time, with Tay’s touring coming to an end, and possibly Travis’ entire NFL career.
This next chapter in their lives, with those driveway basketball hoops and late nights spent together, is going to be a whole new era for them to embark on! And we can’t wait to see what comes next!
