A man who was accused of breaking into Taylor Swift‘s New York City home has been sentenced.
According to TMZ in April 2018, Roger Alvarado allegedly entered the Shake It Off musician’s property by climbing up a ladder, and smashing a window with his hand. He then allegedly took a shower, and fell asleep in a bed.

After pleading guilty to attempted burglary in December 2018, the Florida-resident was sentenced to six months in jail on Tuesday, though he has already served the majority of his time.
A Manhattan District Attorney’s Office spokesperson told E! News that the 22-year-old accepted a plea deal, where he will be on probation for five years, in addition to doing his prison stint.
He must also abide by a protection order for the next 8 years.
The singer was not at her residence at the time of the alleged incident.
