Taylor Swift Has 'Zero Regrets' Over Waging A Public Battle With Scooter Braun!

Taylor Swift's lawyer responds

There’s no going back for Taylor Swift after she publicly called out Scooter Braun in a Tumblr post on Sunday following his purchase of Big Machine Label Group, and with it, her music catalog.
While Ariana Grande‘s manager has yet to publicly respond, though he has taken to social media to repost messages of support from friends backing his character, the Bad Blood songstress is standing firm by her”manipulative bullying” claims.

A source speaking to E! News explained:

“No matter what Scooter or any of his people say, Taylor believes he did this to hurt her. She wants the truth about him to come out.”

Swift was so ready to expose him over the controversial deal, and maybe that’s why the 29-year-old has apparently ghosted the music mogul in regards to a private conversation over the drama.

“She was furious and she still is. She is so upset and has zero regrets about making this public.”

She’s giving off HBIC vibes — that’s head bitch in charge for those who didn’t know!
The insider also expressed T. Swift is fiercely standing behind her truth, and whatever may come from it:

“Taylor doesn’t care if she has enemies and if all of Scooter’s friends support him. She knows what his intentions are and why he did this. She has her friends who will stand by and support her, too. She feels very strongly about this, and standing up to Scooter.”

And in case you’re wondering…

“He doesn’t scare her at all.”

We’re sure it helps Taylor also has the support of her lawyer, obviously, who has released a statement about the controversy.
Directly addressing Scott Borchetta, the starlet’s ex-record label head, Donald Passman shared a statement with ET on Tuesday to deny claims Swift was ever given the chance to buy her options back… unlike other artists on the label!
Passman shared:

“Scott Borchetta never gave Taylor Swift an opportunity to purchase her masters, or the label, outright with a check in the way he is now apparently doing for others.”

Woah. Would Swift have bought the label if given the option?? That’s the first we’re hearing of this!

As we previously reported, Borchetta wrote a scathing public letter in response to the You Need to Calm Down singer’s post, in which he specifically downplays his role in the artist losing her music catalog to Braun. He also claimed he attempted to negotiate a deal with Taylor to allow her to buy back her catalog.
At the price of her re-signing a deal with the label for 10 YEARS!
You can see Scott’s screenshot of his supposed offer to the pop star (below):

Only three deal points appear on this proposal, so who knows if this is the full story… or is just the one Borchetta is trying to paint.
Regardless, Swift sounds about done with whatever B.S. she believes is being shoved her way, and is standing her ground.
