Taylor Swift and Selena Gomez can credit their 12-year friendship to Joe and Nick Jonas!
During an interview with Britain’s KISS FM, Selly dished on being besties with the New Year’s Day singer — and even though their individual relationships with the JoBros didn’t work out, they still got something really special out of the young love!
To catch you up, the Disney darling dated Nick back in 2008, which was the same year T. Swift and the now-engaged Joe had a fling (for more on that, listen to Forever And Always).

Justin Bieber‘s love told the radio show of meeting Tay Tay:
“We actually dated the Jonas Brothers together! It was hysterical. It was amazing, because [Taylor] was the girl with the big curly hair and all the bracelets and the cowboy boots. And I was definitely up-and-coming, and we just clicked.”
She jokingly added:
“It was the best thing we got out of those relationships. They’re lovely, by the way. We’re all friends now. We were young, you know, it’s a different time.”
Everything happens for a reason!
