Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce are not messing around when it comes to security at their upcoming wedding!
Perezcious readers know that despite reports the couple would be tying the knot on June 13 at her Rhode Island mansion or the nearby Ocean House resort, a wedding planner shut it down last week. A source for Page Six also claimed the save-the-dates stated the wedding is happening not in June, but a month later, on July 3, in New York City.

The exact location is unknown, and we may never know until afterward because Taylor and Travis are reportedly very concerned about one thing and one thing only right now: a wedding heist! Especially because so many details about their nuptials have already leaked! Uh oh! A source close to the arrangements told RadarOnline on Wednesday:
“Taylor and Travis’ teams are intent on locking everything down because too much has already slipped out. When you have this level of celebrity and this much detail in circulation, it becomes a real security concern.”
There are several factors that their team and planners cannot ignore, starting with the high-profile attendees. They are going to have loads of A-listers at the shindig, including Selena Gomez, Patrick Mahomes, Gigi Hadid, Jason Kelce, and Emma Stone. Plus, they need to worry about all the expensive jewelry, clothes, and whatnot from the bride, groom, and their guests! Because of all that, another insider shared that security planning is “extremely tight.”
What Tay Tay plans to wear alone on her wedding day will probably need its own bodyguard! According to the insider, the pop star is planning to go full vintage Hollywood glam! Think Elizabeth Taylor‘s 1950 wedding dress from her nuptials with Conrad Hilton Jr. It is a similar design that “captivated” Taylor, featuring a cinched waist and lace detailing. Insiders claimed the Shake It Off singer may even ask to borrow some of the iconic actress’s jewelry to complete her look! Wow! Forget one bodyguard, then, she may need two if this true!
However, those close to Taylor and Travis insist the wedding will remain very personal and traditional. Her dad, Scott Swift, will walk her down the aisle, and he will get a father-daughter dance. They plan to have a 1950s-style wedding cake. The planners are also reportedly working to scale back on the event so it does not get “totally out of hand and difficult to control.” Just please do not try to dial back Jason! We need details of his hilarious shenanigans!
As insiders said, security will be tight. It will extend beyond where the wedding is taking place, and the surrounding areas will be closely monitored, all to make sure no one uninvited shows up:
“The entire estate is being treated like a high-security zone. Access will be tightly restricted, with layered protection in place to ensure privacy from every angle – they are not taking any chances with uninvited attention.”
The source noted Taylor’s team even has backup plans in place just in case something happens on the big day:
“Taylor is incredibly detail-oriented, so there isn’t just one version of how the day unfolds. There are several contingency plans ready to go at a moment’s notice – whether that’s changes to timing, locations, or logistics – she’s prepared for every possible scenario.”
Oh, Tay is making sure this wedding goes down without a hitch, no matter what! But despite being so concerned about the big day, the pair are said to be taking time to enjoy the process:
“They’ve made a conscious effort not to let the scale of the event overwhelm them. Even with all the moving parts, they’re trying to keep the atmosphere relaxed and fun rather than stressful.”
The source expressed that Travis and Taylor are prioritizing having a good time over anything else. It doesn’t have to be perfect at the end of the day:
