Lesson learned!
An elite New York City private club won’t be repeating the past when it comes to Taylor Swift!
As you’ll recall, back in 2023, the songwriter stepped out with her then-boyfriend Matty Healy for a date at Casa Cipriani, where cameras are supposed to be off limits. However, her date was totally exposed when some members snapped pictures of her and blasted them across the internet, completely breaking the rules.

It was such an invasion of privacy that she reportedly cancelled her membership! Ouch!

The club worked hard to do damage control, supposedly banning at least three members for taking the forbidden photos and purging the membership so it’d be even more exclusive. And, eventually, all the changes won Tay back, who returned with her new beau, Travis Kelce.
The lovebirds just went back to the infamous spot on Friday evening — and it’s clear Casa Cipriani does NOT want history to repeat itself! Now that the Grammy winner’s in an even more high-profile romance, the place went out of its way to ensure her privacy. They really didn’t want to f**k this up again!!
According to Page Six intel on Sunday, before Taylor and Travis even showed up at the place, guests who were hanging out on the terrace were told to put their phones in their pockets. No explanation was given, but it was clear the club meant business:
“They couldn’t even use them to check email. No one knew why, though.”
And then it was incredibly clear why when the couple and some friends showed up! But after all the steps taken to keep things private, the group didn’t stay outside long. A canopy was leaking, per the eyewitness, so they went inside and hung out in the jazz club.
We’re glad the club has fixed the situation so they can enjoy some quality time with friends without worrying about cameras!
