Ted Nugent Is 'Beginning To Wonder If It Would Have Been Best Had the South Won The Civil War'

Before you read any further, we’d like to remind you all that Ted Nugent also offered to blow a reporter to prove he’s “a damn nice guy” and said he’d “be dead or in jail” if Barack Obama gets re-elected.
Much like his previous statements, we have a hard time understanding this most recent one. At least he took the time to write his thoughts down this time, instead of blabbering in front of a camera, so his point is a little more clear.
That point, of course, is that America is going straight down the crapper thanks to “Chief Justice Roberts├óΓé¼╦£ traitor vote” for Obamacare.
In an opinion piece for The Washington Times, the aging rocker joined the rest of the Republican party in complaining about the Supreme Court upholding Obama’s healthcare plan.
Everyone is entitled to their opinion, but his seems to wander into questionable territory when he brings up the results of the Civil War by writing:

Chief Justice Roberts squandered the opportunity to restore judicial, financial and legislative sanity to a government that by any sane person’s standards is insane and addicted to centralized federal control of our lives. Because our legislative, judicial and executive branches of government hold the 10th Amendment in contempt, I’m beginning to wonder if it would have been best had the South won the Civil War.

Something tells us he does a little more than “wonder” and has been trying to build a time machine for years, but we’re pretty happy the South was not victorious. If that were the case, gay rights wouldn’t even be an issue because people would be too afraid to come out of the closet!
Oh yeah, and then there is that slavery issue…
Anyway, we can probably all agree (except Ted) that it’s a good thing the North won that war.
As far as the Obamacare ruling goes, we don’t understand the big fuss. We doubt the country will come toppling down because of a new healthcare system that makes insurance more affordable. And if it does, it would be easy to point to A LOT more reasons as to how the federal government “bankrupted America.”
