Teddi Mellencamp has a new tattoo!
On Instagram Thursday, the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star showed off some new ink on her back she got as part of a “family tat day.” In the caption of the picture, she wrote:
“Can you guess what my new tat says? We did family tat day yesterday and of course this is what I picked.”
The dainty tattoo stretches down her spine with some pretty cursive letters, and it references a song that her dad John Mellencamp released in 2008. Can you guess which one??

She picked some very sentimental lyrics from Longest Days. It read across her skin:
“Life is short even in its longest days”

The tat stretches over one of her surgery scars from when doctors had to remove a large portion of her shoulder due to melanoma. Luckily, Teddi is en route to being cancer-free now after undergoing treatment for brain and lung tumors. What an amazing way to celebrate with a meaningful new piece of art on her body.
