Teen Mom 2 Jenelle Evans On Her Abortion: "It's Such A Good Thing I Didn't Have This Child"

It was a difficult decision, but she thinks it was the right one.
Teen Mom 2 star Jenelle Evans‘s decision to have an abortion before her current pregnancy caused a lot of controversy.
But the reality star truly believes that she made the right decision.
And a lot of that belief comes in the fact that she knew she didn’t want to have Courtland Rogers‘ child.
Here’s what she said regarding the first time she found out she was pregnant:

“To find out I was pregnant the second time was, like, mind blowing for me. We just got arrested and I ended up being really sick with bronchitis so I had to go to the hospital. So, I go to the hospital, and they’re like, ‘We can’t give you a chest X-ray because you’re pregnant.’ They’re like, ‘Congratulations!’ My heart just came out of my a**.”

Jenelle continues on how she knew that having a baby with Courtland was NOT a good idea. So she decided, without telling him, to have an abortion. She said:

“It’s just like, all the sh*t we’d been through was not good [for] having a child. I didn’t know what to do. I had to get an abortion, I had to,” she asserted. “He wouldn’t be there for me, his family wouldn’t be there for me. My mom would be, but it would just be me as a single parent and that’s not what I want. I want a family. It’s such a good thing I didn’t have this child.”

We have to admit that her new boyfriend Nathan Griffith definitely seems to be a better influence on her, and may be the key to getting her son Jace back!
Maybe we wouldn’t have gone the route Jenelle did, but it’s absolutely her decision, and she seems to be happy with the choice she made.
So if she’s happy, we’re happy for her.
