After a rocky first few months of marriage, Jenelle Evans and Courtland Rogers are finally back together.
But what about those pesky abuse charges the Teen Mom star filed against her husband?
Well, Jenelle would like to simply drop them, but unfortunately for her- and fortunately for the rest of us- it’s not that easy to file criminal charges against someone whenever you feel like it.
Now that the state of North Carolina is investigating, there are two possibilities:
Either Courtland really did abuse her and is going to jail, or Jenelle made it up- in which case she could face jail for falsifying charges!
According to a source close to the case, Courtland’s parents Carson and Holley are going to try to make sure it’s the latter. The source says:
“They are going to stick by the fact that he did not beat Jenelle because they were there with him that night.
There was an argument, but not a physical fight. The papers she took out on him are false and that will be stated on the stand by both Carson and Holley.”
Ouch! Guess that backfired! Now it looks like the couple is in a no-win situation.
But we’ll have to wait until their April 8 court hearing to find out how this all shakes out!
