Even behind bars, Tekashi 6ix9ine is causing drama!
In case you missed it, the rapper dropped his new album DUMMY BOY on Tuesday featuring Nicki Minaj and Kanye West on the track MAMA. As we previously reported, a shooting on the set of the music video halted its production — after the two strip club bartenders feuding with Cardi B were flown in to film.

Now, the Money songstress is being dragged back into the feud as TMZ is reporting 6ix9ine screwed Fashion Nova out of a deal on the track because Miz Minaj told him to!
For those who didn’t catch the new song, the lyrics that went live were “Splish, splash, Apple Bottoms make that ass fat” instead of “Splish splash Fashion Nova make that ass fat.” You can hear the original shout-out in this Instagram posted to his page by management (below):

It turns out the IG-famous retailer paid the now-jailed artist SIX FIGURES up front to be mentioned, along with branding in the music video, only for it to get reportedly axed in the end by Nicki.
While the unfinished visual for the track won’t likely get released as Tekashi is currently in prison, TMZ did have a shot of the Fashion Nova branding featured. And as for the song lyrics? The Anaconda artist was reportedly pissed at the shout-out since Cardi currently has a deal with the company, and so asked her collaborator to change the line, which he clearly obliged to.
Yikes! Fashion Nova is said to be waiting on the outcome of 6ix9ine’s trial before taking any next steps to get their money back!
Or they can take it up with Nicki. LOLz!
