Man Fakes His Own Kidnapping To Swindle A $200 Ransom From His Mother! Find Out How He Got Busted HERE!

All this story needs is a wood chipper and it could totally be the plot to a Cohen Brothers movie!
Last week a young Tennessee man named Zachery Logsdon texted his mother and asked him for a few hundred bucks. Fast forward to today and the dude is in lock-up.
Wait, what!? If borrowing money from mumsy were a crime then every college student in America would be doing hard time, so why did he get arrested?
Well, it was the horrific lie he allegedly fed her while trying to score the $200!
Did he say he needed the money for an SAT prep course? Auto insurance? A Bitcoin investment?
Nope, Zachery, who allegedly abuses heroin and pills, told his mother that he had been KIDNAPPED! That he was being held HOSTAGE! And that, unless she gave him a $200 ransom, the kidnappers would kill him!
Ugh. Worst early Mother’s Day present EVER.
Mommy dearest didn’t buy her son’s story for a second. She called 911 and Knoxville police set up a fake money drop just like you see in movies and wound up catching him.
So, how did she know he was lying?
Knoxville Police Officer Darrell DeBusk revealed:

“Of course she didn’t believe him… He had done that previously ├óΓé¼┬ª She said he does have a drug problem and has had one for quite some time.”

Wait, you’re saying he’d already gone to that dried up well before? Yikes! You need some new material, Zachery!
Or, better yet, you need serious help!
Zachery, who was charged with false reporting and resisting arrest, is currently being held on a $3,500 bail.
