Teresa Giudice is revealing why she really flew off the handle during her most iconic reality TV moment years ago! Bravo fans already know what we’re talking about — the table flip heard ’round all of Jersey!
In the Season 1 finale of The Real Housewives of New Jersey, Danielle Staub confronted her castmates for gossiping about a tell-all book detailing her criminal past. It turned into a massive screaming match — right in the middle of a restaurant, in front of the husbands and kids and everything. However, the whole situation escalated even further when Tre jumped into the mix!

In the middle of the group argument, T chimed in to say that “something in that book has to be true.” Danielle became frustrated and told Teresa to “pay attention,” noting only two things were correct — her name change and arrest. Well, to say Tre didn’t like her response would be an understatement. Girl snapped! She slammed her hands on the table, yelling:
“Prostitution whore! You were f**king engaged 19 times! You f**king stupid bitch!”
Teresa then flips the table as expletives continue to fly out her mouth before she is dragged out of the room! Re-watch the classic heated scene (below):

The outburst became one of the most legendary moments in Housewives history! We all still talk about it to this day — even Teresa! She just looked back on what happened 16 years later, and it turns out there was more behind what caused her to flip the table!
The Bravo personality appeared on her daughter Gia Giudice’s Casual Chaos podcast last month, where she addressed the situation. The episode came out back in May but flew under the radar until now! Who knew she’d spill so much tea all these years later?? Teresa recalled:
“Danielle was… let me tell you, Danielle was made for it. She was TV gold. She really was. She was awesome. She just put it all out there, literally.”
The cookbook author thought Danielle was great TV but not a great co-star at the beginning! According to Teresa, she kept throwing jabs at her throughout filming. While she tried to ignore it, she reached her breaking point by the end! The second Danielle told her to “pay attention,” she had enough and lost it! That’s why those two words resulted in an explosive reaction! Teresa explained:
“She was fun and very easy going, just so much fun, even though in the beginning, she was like insulting me a little bit. That’s what made me flip the table on her, you know? Because she would just throw these little jabs at me, like she said to Joe, ‘Don’t speak to me like you speak to your wife.’ Stuff like that. And then I’m the type where I take it, I take it, I take it, and then when I don’t take it anymore, I explode.”
Oh boy, did she “explode” back then! We all learned you do not want to cross Teresa Giudice the day that episode dropped! Despite the intense incident, the two eventually made amends! Teresa said:
“I ended up getting to know her, and then look, we ended up making up later on.”
