Good news!
British reality TV star Jade Goody, diagnosed with cancer and given only months to live, and her recently-paroled groom-to-be, Jack Tweed, will be allowed to spend their wedding night together.
Jade is set to marry her long-time guy Jack this Sunday.
Until England’s Justice Minister intervened, Jack would have had to leave his bride at 7 p.m., as part of his early parole conditions.
We’ve previously mentioned that Jack was jailed for 18 months last year for assaulting a 16-year-old boy with a golf club. He was released a few weeks ago, tagged with an electronic tracking device, into the care of his mother. As part of the conditions, he has to return to his mother’s home by 7pm each evening.
Jade’s PR guy, Max Clifford, exclaimed to the media, “It will be the dream finish to her dream day, and it makes so much difference. Our heartfelt thanks from Jade and from Jack for allowing him to stay the evening in these very special circumstances.”
