Bravo, Edward Furlong. You noticed that threatening voicemails will get you press. You were correct.
Furlong, who played a young John Connor in Terminator 2: Judgment Day, has been given a temporary restraining order and must remain 100 yards away from his estranged wife, Rachael Kneeland, and his 3-year old son, Ethan.
Here’s part of a transcript of one of Furlong’s voicemails, wherein he threatens Kneeland’s new boyfriend:
“If he dares hang out with f**king Ethan, I swear to god I’m gonna f**king rip his f**king heart and f**king feed it to him you understand me? I will f**king rip him a new one, you can f**king, you see if you like him still when his f**king little pretty face is all deformed.”
Here’s more of Furlong’s Mel-Gibson-like craziness:
“F**k you Rachael. I’m sick of you … you are such f**king vermin … you are a cesspool of s**t, that’s what you are, you’re nothing, you’re nothing.”
There were also threatening text messages, which will also be used against the former Terminator 2 star, in court on August 31.
Is there a curse surrounding the character John Connor? First, Christian Bale goes nutso, and now Edward Furlong? Should we expect to hear a similar story from Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles star Thomas Dekker? Is Terminator 3’s Nick Stahl going to rise from irrelevance through craziness as well?
