As we reported, 10 months after Terry Crews publicly named him as the Hollywood executive who grabbed his junk at a party, agent Adam Venit left WME as Crews’ civil lawsuit was settled.

On Friday, the Brooklyn Nine-Nine star took to Twitter to post Venit’s apology letter, which was sent to him on March 22.
However, the former NFL player didn’t accept the apology until September 10, following Venit’s resignation.
In the letter, the exec doesn’t directly confirm Crews’ allegations, but says:
“I know that you didn’t ask for any of this… I take responsibility for us being here now, together in this situation. I am sorry for all of it.”
Venit adds:
“I even hope that someday we can come together and go forward with compassion and understanding and be an amazing force for positivity and change in our culture.”
Although Crews filed a police report against Venit last November, the actor’s criminal case was rejected due to the statute of limitations.
