Tarantino’s Inglourious Basterds is expected to bring in $35 million at the U.S. box office sales over the course of the weekend, saving Basterds‘ production company, The Weinstein Company, from sliding into bankruptcy!

Critics anticipated the film, starring Brad Pitt, to tank at the box office considering Tarantino’s last film, Grindhouse was a total flop and Basterds was less-than-well received at this year’s Cannes Film Festival.

Guess Harvey’s excessive promotion of the film worked out for the better!
