Remember the fifteen girls who were suspended from Oprah‘s Leadership Academy for Girls in South Africa a few weeks ago because of sexual harassment???
Four of the Big O’s students are now claiming they were locked up in “solitary confinement” for two weeks before being expelled from the school!!!
Although a spokeswoman for Oprah released a statement saying the fifteen troublemakers were put under “in-school suspension,” the four girls who came forward have said that they were locked alone in their dorms with guards on patrol outside the rooms.
The students were not allowed to attend any classes, communicate with anyone or enter the dining hall for meals!
Interestingly enough, one of the expelled students has come forward ($$$$$$) about the sexual harassment, telling tabloids, “If they say I was touching other learners, it’s true.”
The harasser argued her decision to initiate “physical contact of a sexual nature with another pupil on campus,” saying, “No one complained to me about it. Obviously if you touch someone, if they are uncomfortable, they will tell you.”
Such a messy situation!
