New Diary of a Wimpy Kid Book Beats Steve Jobs' Sales Record

The Diary of a Wimpy Kid: Cabin Fever is gonna out sell the Mr. Macbook (RIP)!
The sixth book in the Jeff Kinney‘s Wimpy Kid series, and it’s selling like Tickle-Me-Elmo!
The book has only been out 9 days and already sold a 1 MILLON copies! Publishers are confident the book will sell another 3 million, making it the top selling book of the year.
At six million copies, the first printing for Cabin Fever is the largest for any book in 2011, beating Steve Jobs‘ biography, which sold more than 379,000 copies in its first six days of on the market.
Pretty impressive! We’re not glad Steve’s book is getting out sold, but it IS nice to hear that so many young people are reading!
We think both of these books would make a great holiday gift!
