We’re sure this is infuriating to New York, but there’s a judge out there that loves The Apprentice and comb-overs!
State Supreme Court Justice Ira B. Warshawsky rejected New York’s demand that Donald Trump must pay back rent for the undeveloped Jones Beach catering hall-restaurant he purchased in 2007.
He ruled that the state would not grant Trump a building permit and invented excuses to make it impossible, therefore forcing him and partner Steve Carl to pay $200,000.
The Donald will be just fine because he’s getting every cent of that back and more time to complete the development of the property!
“It’s a total and complete victory,” said Trump.
We’re sure he’ll put the money to good use as it’s rumored that cash makes great toilet paper!
Congrats!
