Music producer and singer The-Dream is currently wanted by the NYPD.
He allegedly punched, kicked, and tried to strangle his ex-girlfriend!!
That’s awful!! But that’s not all… She was pregnant!!
Law enforcement sources said that the whole incident went down in April 2013 at the Plaza Hotel, only a few months before The-Dream’s ex Lydia Nam gave birth to his baby boy.
Right now, it’s not sure why he attacked her or if she ended up going to a doctor. She didn’t file the police report until November, so the police didn’t know about the alleged assault until then.
So now The-Dream is wanted by the cops for questioning in relation to the assault allegations against him.
The-Dream says his ex is lying and she’s just a vengeful woman who’s going to use this crime against him to extend her visa in the U.S. because she’s Canadian.
Here’s the thing, though — Dream had already been arrested for a domestic violence incident involving Nam last June, but Nam never pressed charges so the case was rejected.
We wonder why she waited so long to file the report but we hope this whole thing gets resolved because those are some serious allegations!
