Just days after Jill Duggar gave birth to a baby boy, Israel, the new mom opened up about her hubby’s skills as a first time poppa.

Thankfully, the reality star could not be happier with how Dillard is raising their first child, gushing:
“Derick is doing amazing at being a dad. He’s a pro at burping him.”
Aw, so cute. The art of burping is not so easy to master!
Derick himself added:
“I have a really steep learning curve but I think I’m catching on fast!”
Well, considering the new dad’s wife basically raised more than a handful of siblings, we bet he already knows some great tips!
