Despite seriously tough competition from Christmas releases, Django Unchained and Les Miserables — Bilbo and his magical pals have held on to the top box office spot since the flick’s Dec. 14th debt.
Altogether the movie has grossed an estimated $238.1 million to date domestically, aaaaand more than $470 million overseas.
Um… THAT’S INSANE!
