Everyone’s priorities are different!
In the US, the banks have eaten up bazillions of bailout dollars.
And then there’s Italy!
The European nation’s government has promised to detail a massive fashion industry bailout by the middle of the month.
Dolce & Gabbana or Versace plus bailout just has such a funny ring to it!
The Italian fashion industry reportedly employs around 80,000 people and its revenues in 2008 were down 4%.
That’s a lot of jobs to protect!
We’re sure millions of women around the world are sad that these crap economic times won’t allow them to help prop up the Italian fashion houses.
