It’s hard to resist a good sappy coming of age story that has two teenagers falling in love for the first time! So that’s why Asa Butterfield‘s new sci-fi drama definitely looks intriguing!
Asa stars as the first boy born on Mars who grows up on the red planet isolated from Earth… and thus, the rest of civilization.

Since Butterfield is a teenager, he’s of course curious about the unknown and meets a girl online across space that he ends up traveling ALL THE WAY to Earth for her as scientists find his heart will not survive the planet’s gravity. The film, which essentially looks like a mashup between sci-fi writer Robert A. Heinlein‘s Stranger In A Strange Land and Fault In Our Stars, also stars Carla Gugino, Gary Oldman, and Britt Robertson!
