The view from this fallout is gonna be good!
While most daytime talk shows thrive due to the charming relationships between the casts, the same cannot be said for The View.
Even though ABC‘s panel series is the longest running of its kind, it’s now consistently beaten in ratings by The Talk — something we’re sure producers absolutely hate.

The feuding egos over at The View have been highly publicized for years, but the latest fight brewing between Whoopi Goldberg and Joy Behar has the potential to be the most destructive yet!
We’re hearing Joy is close to getting Whoopi to quit in order to get a salary bump and the official moderator title!
According to a DailyMail report, the dueling comediennes cannot stand one another, with a source admitting that Whoopi doesn’t really want to return for Season 21 at this point, saying:
“They told [Whoopi] they would like to keep her around but would have to drastically cut her salary…
Whoopi was very matter-of-fact in telling them that if they cut her salary, they would have to cut her days as well…
Whoopi was furious when they told her what they were offering. She told the executives flat out, ‘If you want Joy damnit, just say you want Joy then!'”
Joy has already been acting as moderator for Friday episodes, and it seems like she likes being in charge.

We’re also hearing that the two former friends take part in separate briefing meetings just so they don’t have to interact except for when they’re on camera!
