The Walking Dead's Alanna Masterson Isn't Here For Your Fat-Shaming! See Her Killer Response!

When she’s not fighting off flesh-eating zombies on The Walking Dead, Alanna Masterson is battling even more vile creatures IRL: Internet trolls.
The actress made her kick-ass return to the AMC series in Sunday’s episode, which focused primarily on her character Tara in her most action-packed episode yet.

While many were excited for Masterson’s return, some of the less cognitively developed viewers couldn’t help but comment on her weight — and by comment, we mean hurling out body-shaming insults on Twitter.
The 28-year-old started filming the current seventh season several months after giving birth to her daughter Marlowe, who recently turned 1 year old — and just like her onscreen alter-ego, she wasn’t about to take sh*t from no petty haters!
On Tuesday, Masterson responded to the body-shamers in a lengthy Instagram post alongside a photo of her little girl, writing:

“Dear Instagram trolls, body shamers, and the men and woman who think it’s ok to comment on my weight: I hope that you don’t have children. And if you do, I hope you teach them about kindness and acceptance. I hope they learn that it isn’t ok to make fun of people or call people names. I hope one day YOU learn what it takes to be a parent. A kind, selfless parent. A working parent. A parent that puts themselves in someone else’s shoes.”

This isn’t the first time Masterson had to call out body-shamers over her appearance on the horror hit. While filming last season in 2015, she was in the second and third trimesters of her pregnancy and dressed in loose-fitting shirts to hide her baby bump.
These days, Masterson’s main concern is nursing her baby girl, and she made it clear in her post that filming chase scenes and performing stunts is no walk in the park when you have to pump breast milk “in a van between takes.” She added:

“Maybe you can’t get it through your thick f*cking skull, but nursing a baby for a year (and pumping in a van between takes, in the dead of summer in Georgia) is a lot of work, determination, and scheduling. So before you decide to make a comment about my chest being ‘too large’ or how ‘fat’ I’ve become, just know that this little girl got the best start to life.”

I would LOVE to see any man or woman give birth to a baby, nurse the baby, and then work 17 hour days and NAIL their own stunts. P.s.s. Be kind to each other.
