James Ransone’s cause of death has been confirmed.
Nearly three weeks after tragically passing away, we know for certain what caused The Wire actor’s death. In a death certificate obtained by People on Wednesday, the It Chapter Two star’s cause of death was confirmed as suicide.
Heartbreaking.

Immediately following his demise, the Los Angeles County Medical Examiner ruled James’ death as an apparent suicide via “hanging,” revealing his place of death as a “shed.”
