This Is It, the documentary featuring footage of Michael Jackson‘s rehearsals for what would have been his final performances in London, is doing extremely well in advance ticket sales.
Tickets went up for grabs on Sunday and hundreds of showings were sold out in North America via Fandango and MovieTickets. There has been a similar reaction all over the world in cities such as London, Sydney, Bangkok and Tokyo.
Sony acquired distribution rights for $60 million and with tickets going as fast as they are, they’re sure to turn a MAYJAH profit.
This Is It will be in theaters for only two weeks beginning on October 28.
