One of Taylor Swift‘s wedding guests had to decline — because they were hanging out with her EX! AWKWARD!!!
Taylor and Travis Kelce‘s star-studded Madison Square Garden wedding was full of about 1,000 of their closest friends and family earlier this month — but one familiar face was nowhere to be found! Shania Twain! But the crazy thing is, the legendary singer WAS invited, but she had to decline!

Spilling the tea to ETalk on Tuesday, the 60-year-old performer shared:
“I would have done anything to be at Taylor’s wedding. I would have done anything, and that would have been really lovely for me to be there — but I was with Harry.”
OH!
That’s, of course, a reference to the Love Story artist’s ex-boyfriend Harry Styles!
Shania was opening for him during his 12-show residency at Wembley Stadium in London, and they had a show on June 3, which conflicted with Tay Tay’s nuptials back in NYC. So, there was no way for Shania to be in both places at once:
“Taylor Swift invited me to her wedding and I couldn’t go because I was already committed to Harry’s shows. I was already committed.”
The Man! I Feel Like a Woman hitmaker then joked:
“If Harry ever gets married and he wants me at his wedding then … he’s going to have to ask me more in advance.”
The outlet then pointed out that Taylor and Harry dated back in 2012 and 2013, which made the reason for Shania’s “no” on the RSVP even more awkward. She reacted:
“It’s just kind of funny that it happened that way.”

Wild to think we went from speculation on if Harry would be a plus one at the nuptials due to his relationship with Taylor’s pal Zoë Kravitz to a guest not showing up because of him! Too bad!
