Well, this is an unexpected couple… Tiger Woods and… Vanessa Trump!
According to DailyMail.com on Thursday, the golf GOAT and Donald Trump Jr.‘s ex-wife are dating — and have been since Thanksgiving 2024! They may seem worlds apart, but they actually live about 20 minutes apart in Florida and their children go to the same school — which is likely how they met.
Vanessa’s eldest, Kai, 17 — who goes to the same school as Tiger’s kids Charlie, 16, and Sam, 17 — is also an avid golfer. Last month, the couple was spotted with Kai at the PGA Tour‘s Genesis Invitational, where the teen wore an outfit from Tiger’s clothing line. She’s already representing! We guess the families have gotten close?

Explaining the new romance, an insider told the outlet:
“Tiger and Vanessa have been seeing each other since just before Thanksgiving. She comes to his place on Jupiter Island. They’re not living together. She comes over maybe a few nights a week. They just love hanging out, having dinner and schmoozing together. They’re sticking close to home, have decided not to make it a thing and go out in public. Not just yet anyway.”
People also confirmed the pair are “quietly dating” and have been for “several months.” Another confidant told Page Six that the romance is “not too serious” — but it’s “heading in that direction.” They explained:
“They have a lot in common. They’ve both gotten used to public scrutiny. They both know how to keep their private life private. They’re both parents.”
Noting that the athlete has “always tried to date girls who just weren’t right for him,” the source expressed positivity about this pairing, noting:
“They’re a good match; they’re level-headed, they like to avoid drama, they share a lot of the same values.”
One reason the relationship works is that Vanessa doesn’t care about Tiger’s fame, an insider shared:
“She’s not starstruck [by] him; she’d date him even if he weren’t famous. Fame doesn’t interest her; that’s what he likes best about her … We’ll see where it goes.”
Vanessa also shares kids Donald III, 16, Tristan, 13, Spencer, 12, and Chloe, 10, with her ex. They split in 2018 after 12 years of marriage. Per reports, the relationship took a hit during President Donald Trump‘s first election campaign because Vanessa didn’t like being in the spotlight. Her hubby had also reportedly stepped out on the relationship with Aubrey O’Day. And of course Jr. rebounded a little too quickly with Fox News host Kimberly Guilfoyle — Vanessa confirmed that relationship was going strong just three months after she filed for divorce. Of course, he’s also left Kimberly far behind, but that’s another story…
Tiger shares his kids Elin Nordegren, from whom he dramatically split from after his own cheating scandal. He was most recently linked to Erica Herman, but they broke up in 2023. Hopefully, this romance isn’t filled with as much drama as some of their past relationships!
